In this particular example of Keyframe Animation with EnSight, the user is taken along the streamline, and shown a "fish-eye" view of the river simulation. EnSight has the ability to easily generate a spline from the streamline, and attached a camera to that spline. This animation can help users visualize the path taken by a streamline through the domain.
In this particular FLOW-3D model visualized with EnSight, the streamlines released from an upstream location are animated. This helps visualize the flowfield in this river model, and illustrate the locations of recirculating current.
FLOW3D simulation of waves moving  a ship on the water. In this example, the STL information for the ship is read directly from the FLSGRF file, which means that as the location of the ship changes with time, so does the ship in EnSight. Multiple viewports are used here to show wave height on the lower viewport, and a fancier texture map image of the water on the upper viewport. Here, texture map image of water is applied to the surface of the water to make it look closer to real water.
FLOW3D model from Hyperinfo. This particular animation shows a moving clip plane traversing the model. The read outs in the upper right hand corner show the actual location of the clip, as well as the maximum velocity on that clip.
