When analyzing aerodynamic performance, assessing the drag as it accumulates on the surface can be a useful way to determine the regions of the vehicle which are contributing to the drag. With a simple Python macro which utilizes the ability to loop repeatedly over a series of commands, EnSight can be used to easily calculate the cumulative drag as a function of length down the vehicle. This tutorial illustrates how this macro is used, along with the automatic generation of the cumulative drag graph.
